  • The community was established under Saint Luke's Church, which is also located in Stockton. The center is designed to teach students religious beliefs of Catholicism and the Vietnamese identity/language/culture for a total of eight years or more. Uniforms are required to be worn by staff members, students, and youth group members. Games are played at break during the academic school year, which runs on Saturdays. The church gives their students the Sacrament of Confession in their third year and Confirmation in their eighth year. The community may also receive the Sacrament of Confession. Graduates are also invited to join the youth group to become leaders, friends, and role models for the students. Mass is spoken in Vietnamese. While there are holy days and priesthood celebrations each year, Vietnamese culture and traditions are also celebrated at the church. It is another place to make close friends and will remain a place where community members feel welcome to return to.
