  • Congratulations to Xavier College's past and present students for turning out to be the great nurses the healthcare industry needs. Xavier College has produced great nurses because of their screening process before admission, their close monitoring of the students' performance during the duration of the course and undertandably, for weeding out undesirables whose study habits and ethic do not fit the healthcare industry. This college deserves a HUGE thank you from the community.

  • I am proud to say I am a graduate from Xavier College, class of November 2007. It is a very good school. Within 3 years after completing the program, I was promoted to a management position. The school has done a great job screening students and I back them up in their application process. Nothing is free in this world. For those that have negative feelings toward the school need to stop... and think about what they are posting... The cost of the program is the cheapest by far and well worth it! Read the contract before signing it....please do not ruin the reputation of a school because of a your lack of ambition. I am a firm believer that if there is a will there is a way. It is up to the individual if they will succeed in achieving their goals.I am thankful for the time and effort that was given by my instructors. If you are considering a private school, choose Xavier.

  • If you want to become a nurse, then this program will help you become one. If you enroll and act lazy then you'll waste your money, simple as that. This program is good, The instructors and clinical sites are good. Just matters about how much you want it. I wanted to become a nurse ... This program helped me become one. You honestly get what you put into it!

  • I dont know about those last two reviews, but I sent both my niece and nephew there. Not only is Xavier the cheapest of all the Private Nursing schools in the area? They're nationally accredited by ABHES and are mandated to have strict application and refund policies. It is a complex process, but for a reason. Sounds like the last two reviewers probably didn't follow instructions and when they realized how difficult this program is? Got upset when they dropped past the date they're allowed a refund. Xavier is not like the other private schools in the area that jerk you around and have no clinical priviliges. Also Xavier graduates unlike other schools nursing graduates are getting hired immediately. Not just in nursing homes. The VA is hiring their graduates left and right, St Josephs, San Joaquin County, many Xavier graduates are working in specialized units which is unheard of for new grad LVNs. THis school is not for everyone. THey cater to a very intelligent type A personality candidate of a student that is very organized and meticulous. Other schools in the area are under academic probation because they are so disorganized and their graduates do not have the essential experience and skill to pass the Licensing Exams and more importantly get full time immediate employment. The CA Dept of Public Health even have some of their former Inspection Nurses who have moved in as employers in the area hire many Xavier graduates because of their solid clinical training and instruction. The Director of the Program is an Ivy League Doctoral Degree holding Ex Chief Nurse Executive for the Federal Government. THis program is not for everyone. Especially if you can't even handle a few application fees. If you can't do that? You have no bushiness attempting the VERY difficult work of a nurse at any level. No offense, but the two reviewers would never have successfully negotiated that very rigorous (And some say over the top) difficulty of that program

Just tried to call to get some information. Lady on the phone not very helpful, very short and rude. Not a good start to getting me to want to come to your school. Disappointing....
